Each year the Australian Truck Driver's Memorial committee holds a memorial service onsite at Tarcutta.
This service is to remember each of those whose names appear on the wall, and the addition of new names to be inducted that year.
It is an opportunity for family and friends to unite with others who have suffered similar loss. This annual event has brought comfort and understanding to the thousands of individuals affected by the loss of lives throughout the transport industry.

Next year the memorial service will be held on 30 October 2010 in the Tarcutta Park, Hume Highway commencing at 1pm.
During the service there is a flower laying section of the service where families and loved ones are able to lay flowers or wreaths at the wall in memory of their loved one.
The service is followed by an afternoon tea which is held at the RSL clubrooms.
Chairs are provided for the service but it is always a good idea to bring your own and an umbrella for shade or shelter from any rain.
In the evening there is the annual memorial dinner for families and friends.
This evening is a fitting way to relax, have some fun and catch up with friends and others who have lost loved ones over the years.
